I started my professional career as an in-house Illustrator for an Orange County, Calif. Design Studio. I Illustrated Product Illustrations for some of the best-known national and Inter-national companies. As lead artist, my responsibilities were to attend meetings with clients, work directly with the art director, develop layouts, design mock-ups, comps, and final Illustrations. I painted in traditional airbrush and mixed medium. I transitioned into digital art, Photoshop mac format, and have worked solely in this technology for over two decades. Hired at The Walt Disney Studios, DisneyToons in 2003 as a background painter. In 2005 I moved to The Walt Disney TV Animation Studio. I worked on many shows for the channel and was fortunate to have a long run on the Mickey Mouse Shows for the Disney Jr. Channel. I was the lead background painter for Jake and the Never Land Pirates. I worked closely with the art director, executive producer, technical directors, location designers, and color stylists. My responsibility was visual development, overseeing background painters, maintain the style and continuity of the show. I have worked on 3D shows and have a strong understanding of the process. I have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and work well under pressure to produce the best visual art and meet the production schedule.
